YELLOW
Our little maple tree out front, well I should really say little I think it is actually the second biggest tree on the block after the tree in our side yard (one of the perks of owning an old house) but anyway, our little tree is coming around slowly. The rest of Lawrence is ablaze with beautiful oranges and reds while our little tree trugs along...mostly green still with just specks of yellow.

did you water it a lot? I hear if you water your trees early fall then they turn more slowly...next year I should experiment--I never water the trees! Lisa
I didn't know that about the watering. We have not watered this tree but we did get a ton of rain the past couple of months, maybe that did it. I don't know, Wade isn't even sure that it is a maple...I hope it is but if not then we are going to have to plant one. An orange one. We may have to anyway...
