I really really wanted to go too! I had Jack's birthday party to attend. My little Jack is five! I can't believe it...I feel like I was just bringing him in to visit my Mom at AP yesterday, as cliche as that sounds.
I heard the Obama turn-out was phenomenal and the friends of mine who did attend mentioned standing in the wet cold line for an hour--so, there is a plus side to missing!
Either way,Go Obama!
